Re: Emission Recall 06E17 on 2003-2004 6.0L Powerstroke
I was unhappy with the way my truck was performing after 3 PCM updates when I got the recall. I am very happy now and suggest you have it done. Make sure they perform the "KAM" Keep Alive Memory reset or you can do it yourself by disconnecting the batts. for 15 mins. and then reconn. them and start the truck. Let it idle for about 10 mins. You will hear some changes in the turbo pitch as the comp. is relearning sens. inputs.
