Re: Emission Recall 06E17 on 2003-2004 6.0L Powerstroke
My dads truck (an early 05) got an emissions recall early in the year, I don't know the number but I am guessing that it is this one. And ever since them the mileage has sucked. He went from 15-16 mpg all the time to 12.5 mpg at the very best. Above the drivers side head light there is a "authorized modifications" sticker here is what is says--PCM, TCM, FICM recalibrated and EP sensor replaced.
Is there anything that can be done to get better mileage out of the truck?
