Re: Locking hubs on 06 F350?
You have Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly (ESOF) AND Manual Locking Hubs. ESOF requires the truck to roll a few feet in order to engage. If you get into trouble before they do, you can still manually lock the front wheels. It's also nice because sometimes the ESOF dosn't work due to dirt in the hubs or a vacuum leak, but the Manual Hubs will still get you out of trouble (or into more trouble if that's what you prefer).
