Re: 3.73 or 4.10
[ QUOTE ]
I recall looking on Edmunds and the 20" wheels are not available with the camper or heavy suspension package or was it the other way around? Either way tells me that they can't cut the mustard for heavy loads!
These trucks are meant to haul and if you want a show truck then the F-150 might be a better option.
I am considering a DRW mainly to get my rear end lower like the F-250 and be more stable when pulling 5th wheel. My SRW did a fine job with my current unit but I may go with a high profile 5ver next time. I imagine the 4.10 would help a lot. My only reservation is lower fuel economy with the 4.10. I wonder how much.

I think it would depend on your driving. I had a '97 with 4:10s and got a consistant 18-19 mpg. My driving was backroads and two lane highways. It had a 5 speed and I drove mixed, like a granny, and like I stole it. When I hit the interstate, my mileage dropped to around 16, because of the higher rmps I would guess. Towing, I would think the all around mileage would be a bit better. Just my 3 cents.
