I have a 06 f250 King ranch. It is stock with 20 inch rims. The stock tires suck in the mud and snow. There are not a ton of tire options. I wanted to buy a set of 18 inch rims and put a good set of self cleaning tires for the hunting/snow season and then put my 20;s on in the spring. can anyone email me with a suggestion?? Amlsml@verizon.net thanks

Fellas,

I need some good refrences for some High Power LED Warning Strobes.

Looking for a set that can burn through tint and that I can mount in the rear bumper and grill.

I've looked around on ebay and seen tons of LED's from cheap ones to pretty expensive setups. Don't know too much about them but some says to stick with Gen 3 type. I guess there the brightest out. Who knows...I know I don't.

So...if you got some pro's and cons about some setups let me know...I'll appreciate it!

Any opinions:lol: on winches for my Ex and F-350?
What about hydrolic units?
What about the ol' electrics?
Is one better than another? Why?
Is there one that can be hooked up to various vehicles at different times? For example a non-attached portable unit?
What about the ratings? 9000 #? 16000 #?
How does one determine which winch to use?
Do you need second battery? Will a winch drain a battery quicky and leave you stranded?
Do you need to keep the engine running so you don't?
Do you need a more powerful alternator than stock?

powder coat color recommendation

I bought a set of 2004 18 inch factory rims for my 2004 f350. When I got them the finish was less then what I wanted. I tried to restore them but it is beyond me. The wheel restoration place wants 280 a wheel and the powder coater wants 100 a wheel, so it looks like I am going powder coat. The problem is I do not know what color. Does anyone have a recommendation on color or has pictures of powder coated wheel on a superduty? Any help would be great.

Alright, Ive got an 04 F250XL Superduty 6.0. It had cloth bench seats, and I just put in leather Lariot power seats from an 02. Everything matched up going in but the problem I have is that I cant find the harness under the carpet for the power seat. Did the chassis harness come with this already attached in every one, or did they make a completelyt different chassis harness for the trucks with power seats?

Thats the last step I got and I really dont wanna have to get a whole new chassis harness for a power seat... any help is appreciated, Thanks.

whats up guys ,, im looking into a set of 24.5" freightliner wheels with low pro tires, i have a 06 f550 and i tow a pretty heavy trailer around only a couple times a year (25k lbs loaded) and also a 15k lb trailer loaded about once or twice a month but only local..
my first question is, will i need a lift? my 550 sits pretty high, i do have a bed on it, and i also have a 2,5" level kit in the mail..
secound, are these tires ok for towing? or should i put a "big rig" tires on the 24's?
thanks alot guys

whats up guys ,, im looking into a set of 24.5" freightliner wheels with low pro tires, i have a 06 f550 and i tow a pretty heavy trailer around only a couple times a year (25k lbs loaded) and also a 15k lb trailer loaded about once or twice a month but only local..
my first question is, will i need a lift? my 550 sits pretty high, i do have a bed on it, and i also have a 2,5" level kit in the mail..
secound, are these tires ok for towing? or should i put a "big rig" tires on the 24's?
thanks alot guys

I have always wanted to go higher with my truck. It has been quite a project over the last few years. Well it finally has happened... I called Clay up with Riffraff Diesel and he set me up. This is what I ordered...

- Icon 12.5" lift kit
- One Up Offroad Traction Blocks One Up Offroad Home (http://www.oneupoffroad.com)
- Attitude Performance Re-indexing Ring for the Transfercase
- Attitude Performance Transmission Crossmember
- Dynatrac Ball Joints
- One Up Offroad extended my rear driveline
- Stainless Brake Lines
- Icon's Signature Series Reservoir Shocks
- One Up Offroad Carrier Bearing Drop Kit
- Some 40" Toyo M/t's that I got off Craigslist :)

So far it rides better then the tuff country 6" lift kit, and even turns better too....

I have to thank Clay for getting everything together, he has been a great help to my project. Any of you guys who need anything... and I mean anything, Clay can find it. Shoot him an email and I challenge you to find something that he can't get.....

I also have to thank Milleroutdoors (Mark) for letting me use his shop and helping me out through the whole process!!! Then Rockrunner (Tyler) also helped me out with part of the install. Then thanks to Dave at OUO, he is DA MAN!

Next on the list is some One up offroad steps and their fancy hitch..... and plus some needed gears... :-jammin

Here are some pics... not the greatest. Hopefully the weather gets nicer, it has been pretty nasty the last couple of weeks.
