Administrator Please step in

One of your moderators has taken a position in the off topic discussion area that this site does not allow political discussion of any type or nature. The rules states that there is to be no political debates. Please clarify, since every time I post something it is getting deleted within nanoseconds of posting it. I understand the rule to me, no debates, which to me means arguing back and forth and flaming and bashing others opinions. I have had two posts deleted by someone which were expressing my opinion on the subject. I respectfully ask that you come in and tell us what is what so that we will know. One of your moderators in my opinion is misinterpreting YOUR rules and has go so far to say that YOUR rules were "poorly written". I disagree and think what you stated was easily understandable by a third grader. Moreover, where is the problem, how has that forum been abused by members, why is this happening. Most of us here are adults that don't need Overlords tracking our every keystroke. Please intervene and correct this issue. Thanks

I have never criticized a moderator before, but it seems that you are absolutely correct. It seems that the individual you are talking about wants to go back to the old way of doing business with a despotic style.

I did not start this thread for it to get into a bash the moderators thread, I posted it relating to a specific event. It looks like to me it has been handled.

I'll withdraw my comments on your thread and start my own for my issue which is really similar or parallel to yours.

That was very professional of you Rich, I would expect nothing less. I say let a sleeping dog lie for now. Nothing changed with the rules, folks are minding their manners and I am quite enjoying the new forum.
