If you're saying that an ad opening is moving the focus from the text input box, that's not a site issue, but possibly something going on with your browser, IMO.

Yes, there are quite a few ads, but they shouldn't interfere with entering a post. At least they don't do that to me. Haven't seen anyone else complain about that type of behavior, either.

You might check your browser settings.

Install a popup blocker. Adblock plus is free and I get no ads.

What's funny is that Dodge is advertising the new 2009 Ram 1500 on a Ford diesel website!

You didn't say what browser you are using try Monzilla Firefox it free and has a built in blocker and spam blocker built in. I just joined and I get very few , well no adds except the ones on the far right which doesn't impact me. Or the new Chrome browser its faster yet with no adds, Good luck Rancher

I agree - these ads really bite! Every page load on any forum has the feel of a hiccup as each ad loads. No longer do you get to see the forum right away. Even with high-speed I usually have to wait at least 5 seconds for a page load...I'm going to another site...had enough of this!

Yes, the dodge ads are pretty stupid. What do they want us to do, go out and buy a gasser dodge? Makes a whole lot of sense.... Then why would I be on TDS?

It would make better sense for them to be advertising Kotex tampons because unfortunately you'd see me picking up a box of them way before you'd see me at a dodge dealership. Sad stuff going on here for sure.
