Annoying Blanking After Page Loads?

Ok, now that they seem to have sped things up here a tad,, I get this VERY annoying flash/blanking (to white) of the screen. It loads, I see print for a second. Then it blanks to pure white, for another second, and loads up.....

I don't know what is the matter with the software, or if it is redirecting or what, but I hate it...

The answer is to be using Firefox instead of IE7 and adding the NoScript and Adblock Plus add ons. This site will be as fast or faster than before. I know its not our job to fix the problem but for about 5 min of time, it will be fixed and you will have a better browser as well.

Yeah me too....I get that blank page. Or when I use the back button I just get a blank page.

Not planning on adding firefox either... Can't do that on the work computer and the home computer is just to slow even to try to come here.

You can pick up some add ons for Firefox here.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

Just run a search for what you would like the add ons to do.

I run Firefox, none of the add ons. I have no sidebar ads, found out how to disable them in profile, or settings. Which ever it was. But the screen blanking is very annoying to me, almost hard on the eyes, since it is a TOTALLY WHITE screen when it "Flashes" like it does.

SWEET, that worked, I already used firefox, ie sucks and has lagged behind firefox for years, in security and usefulness......just downloaded the add ons and it is like warp speed and doesn't blank after every page load. Good tip jimmy.

Jimmy, Its a good thing I'm a homophobe and you don't live close I could kiss you dude, no joke, this thing is smokin now, all I needed was two add ons. Not only this site, but everything else in my bookmarks folder is much faster than it ever was.

I'll pass on the kiss. I glad that it has worked out for you. I like the built in spell check as well. You get the red underline when a word is miss spelled. I wondered at first why the entire page had red underlined words. Cause I can't spell too good.

Glad I checked here. I was getting used to being flashed a White screen. Can you be more specific as to the add ons needed to stop this ???

Thanks in advance !!
