avatar posting problem

I get an error of "Improper image type" or something to that nature when trying to upload or select the link for my avatar under Main Configuration and then Personal info. The pic size is 65 x 44 and I tried both .jpg and .gif an I can't get either to work. The url location is

What am I doing Wrong?

Re: avatar posting problem

You need to:

> Right-Click on the photo

> Selest 'Properties'

> and highlight and copy the AddressURL)

> Then paste that into 'URL to your avatar'.

This should be the link you paste.

The software thinks you are telling it an entire web page is your avatar instead of just the photo.
