Cant list truck clubs in signature?

What crap
Your signature cant have a link to a truck club sponsored by this site for over 5 years now.
I bet I can find a link on HERE to our club.
This site is really going down hill fast.

as long as the linked web site has products for sale, you can't have the link. having products for sale makes it a commercial site. the name can stay but no link. you are welcome to become a supporting sponsor and then post your link. i suggest that these truck clubs ask the admins for a special real low rate for clubs that only have a few club related products for sale. its worth a try...

As I understand it links to a paying sponsor is fine, but links to a non-paying non-sponsor is not OK which only makes sense!

The grey area is links to non-commercial civic organizations like "save the children" or the "boy scouts" etc. because they while being classified by the IRS as non-commercial do ask for donations which is quasi-commercial.

A little heavy handed? Well that's "news, comments, and suggestions"

X2 Rod!!!

Seems not to be an issue of a link to this site from a club!
Think of all you have done for this site, posters, vendors, ect For FREE.
Its just getting time now for supporters/vendors to get into helping OP's in treads.
Site Dies without people like you! Bottom Line!

So goes it for FOKISD Club.
The only thing SLAPS sells is CLUB Tee shirts (to support the club) BIG FOR PROFIT SITE THERE Chuck.
FOKISD sells window stickers to it's members TO COVER THE COST OF THE STICKERS
IT appears this site is now run by prof business people for prof sponsors.
The way I see it if all the NOT FOR PROFIT clubs go away then so will this site DUH.
Lets see, check most all the SENIOR MEMBERS here. 99% ARE CLUB MEMBERS.
What CRAP.

Site owners:

Do you have any idea how many members clubs like mine and others have brought here over the years? And don't kid me, I work for a magazine and online website/publication as my full time job, so I know how this all works and how your minds are working.

The higher your subscriber/member numbers are, the more you can charge your advertisers, because the more publicity and clicks to their websites (which equals more sales) you can guarantee.

Those of us who operate these NON-PROFIT clubs, do so in our spare time, with our own money. All without expecting anything in return, other than to see our group grow and show the good side of the diesel owner (read this - NONE of us make a profit or really even break even financially). I cannot even begin to tell you how much blood, sweat, tears, time and money I have put into Colorado Power Stroke Club . The website with forums, the dyno days, the charity donations, the race days, the pulling days, the camping days, the family days, etc..... Now don't get me wrong, the club has brought us the best friends we have ever had and has introduced me to people and things I could have only imagined, so of course I would do it all over again.

But, for you as site owners to make this rule just shows that you are not supporting our clubs, and all our hard work to grow the diesel community not only in our own backyards, but throughout the nation. Remember, most of the clubs not only participate on events together, but work together and share information and advice on how to grow our clubs and thus YOUR SITE.

If I were you, I would honestly reconsider what you have set forth in your rules. All of us club administrators can play that same game too if you so choose. Watch us, and watch your numbers decline. While our numbers will continue to grow. We have earned our member's respect. Will you do the right thing to keep your member's respect?

Seems to fall on deaf ears.
Maybe the eyes can see as the sight hits diminish.
Some will come some will go. But without members you have nothing.
I would rethink some of the rules.

Looks to me that allready treads have slowed down.
