checking edit function: editing the subject line - NEW! - Diesel Forum

Just checking to see if the subject line/topic can be edited and if the edit is recorded like it is if the message is edited.

There is no record of the edit happening if the subject line is edited.

Matt I do not think you can edit the title or the topic line, the one that has author on it.

Yes, you can now edit the topic title. One of the changes with the new version of UBB.

And another change is that there is no tattle-tale "This message has been edited..." tag. Whether you edit the topic title or the body of the message.

You can bet I noticed the "EDITED BY" not coming up all most imeadiatlly [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img] . If you remember back around when you assumed the dutios of administrator, you showed me how to make the edited by only appear once. I appreciated that and passed it along to others. So your goodness did not go down in vain. Now I am wearing out Webster's Vest Pocket Dictionary for some straaange reason [img]images/icons/blush.gif[/img] . Be glad when INFOP gets their checker going, YEAH [img]images/icons/laugh.gif[/img] .
