CHIPS

HI FOLKS I READ THE TESTING THAT WAS DONE ON THE CHIPS FOR BOOSTING PERFORMANCE AND DID
NOTICE THEY DIDN'T TEST THE BEST ONE ON THE MARKET "BANKS" I GOT THE POWER PAC FOR MY F-530 7.3LTD 4X4 SUPERDUTY I USE FOR TOWING HORSE TRAILERS AND I CAN SEE A GREAT BIG DIFF WITHOUT HEATING UP THE ENGINE LIKE THE OTHERS DO, AND WELL WITHIN DEALER SPECS AND WON'T VOID YOUR WARRANTY, UNLESS THE DEALER U USE IS A JERK, IT IS AWSOME CK IT OUT IF YOU GET A CHANCE, YOU WON'T REGRET IT. I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH AND NOTICED ALOT OF THE OTHERS RUN YOUR ENGINE WAY TO HOT AND WINDS UP BURING UP YOUR MOTOR.I MAYBE A SINGLE FEMALE BUT I'M LEARNING QUICK FROM ALOT OF GREAT GUYS AND I WANT TO SAY THANKS TO THEM
GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN. SAM

Re: CHIPS

Hey Sam wellcome to the GOOD SHIP FORD-DIESEL forum. Glad to have you aboard. I think you will lear a great deal and enjoy as most of us do. Look around in other sections of the forum and jump in. We are both serious and have some good clean fun to. Please do not take this wrong, but it is considered shouting to use all capitols. Be sure and use the when ever you want to or all the time. I am not trying to be a wise a-- so take it with a grain of salt.

You take cae and have a goodn'

Re: CHIPS

f-350 JUNKY,
welcome to the site but be careful as it is addicting.
P.S. After seeing the all caps I figured you for L.E. even before looking at your profile.
I am always having to retype due to forgetting I at work or at home which ever the case may be.
Anyway welcome.
TX

Re: CHIPS

F-350 Junky,
Welcome take a look at www.dynotuning.com I did do some testing back in December and Banks was one of them although I did not have the whole system on at the time, but I did have that system on for a while, IMO I just need more hp and torque and for right know don't seem to have excessive egt temps.
My sig says it all and a picture of my truck is on the Ford test site at dynotuning.com

Re: CHIPS

HI:
what sys did you find that gave you the hp/tq you needed for your truck ? And thank you for the site info too. My worry was the
high eng temps, voiding the warrenty also blowing the secondary oil pump, which seem to be common withe alot of the other brands
I two 16 to 30 lbs and have no problems with the banks. If there is something else better out there I appreciate any input. thank you in advance guys.

Re: CHIPS

Hi and welcome also from me but,
This is off topic here. You may want to check out the after market forum. Smokey will be by soon and I'm sure he'll move this

I have a friend that has Banks power and loves it, I like my Western Diesel Chip and brake. Power is POWER!

I see you're an AQHA person, I haul one around also for my wife and kids.
