Disagreement with Moderator in Other Forum

You seem to have a problem with pointless chit chat. I don't understand why you are locking post because you think it sounds like your daughter and her friends. Get a life and retire!!
BTW I'm listinening to Carley SImon.

Re: Kreynole

Threads such as what someone is watching on TV at a given moment, or what someone is listening to right now, whether anyone is wearing underwear (another recent thread) represent chit chat, whether it sounds like my daughter or not. That sort of discussion belongs in the chat room, not the Other Forum. Threads expressing opinions about music, on the other hand, have a different character. That is why the thread about what people are listening to at a given moment on the radio got closed down, yet the thread captainlee started about musical tastes remained open.

The title of this thread has been changed.

Re: Kreynole

Well fudge . . . I'm the guilty party that made the comment about TV but at least it was country music television.
I deleted that post. Of course that dosen't unring a bell.

I saw a thread go on for three pages recently that was nothing more than "chit chat" Can't recall the exact title of the thread. Something about morons.
I could name a bunch of theads that slipped under the radar. So every now and then a few get deleted . . so what?

For the record. I have no gripes about Kevin or the way he does his job. Nor do I have any complaints about anyone, moderators, members or administrators.

Just roll with the punches, Bioman

on edit: I am well aware that chit chat is frowned upon.

Re: Kreynole

Chatting because you are bored can be entertaining at the moment. Why be so bold as to lock a thread because it is not interesting to you. It would have died out quick anyway. This is supposed to be a fun place>

To bad we can't get the chat room off of the ground. I used to hang around in it but got tired of looking at my and @vern's name. Now ever @vern is gone

Re: Kreynole

Don't these endless political debates about political and moral issues quickly degenerate themselves into so called "chit chat"...to me those multiple paragraph diatribes on political issues that go on and on and on are the worst thing going here, maybe we could exclude political issues here , just as sexual, religious topics have been excluded......................Hig............

Re: Kreynole

higgy buddy, as usual you're right. Those politlcal discussions will get closed every time after getting everybody all riled up. What's the use? Don't allow them, brilliant idea.

Anyway - Kev has straightened me out a time or two. The guy's a class act, a real swell fella. Glad he's on our side.

Re: Kreynole

Used to be only one political thread showing on the page.

Is that rule still in effect?

It may not be to your taste-and I know it's your site-but it may help out with all of the b#%ching going on. Mods could sent nonsense in other forums right to it and no one would complain about one thread getting locked and another not.
