Double Standard?

How come one member gets warned about selling items in the General Diesel forum and in the Powerstrokes 94 to 97 forum another member is selling wheels? Consistency is the name of the game. Are the moderators using the same rule book?

Re: Double Standard?

That was me selling my friends extra wheels. My mistake I realized I should have posted them in the for sale section when someone E-mailed me about it. I thought since it was 94 to 97 stuff that that section would see it and it applyed specificly for 94 to 97. I apoligize for any infraction of the rules and it will not happen again.

Sorry,

BAZ...

Yes we all use the same rule book but one must remember that we do this on a voluntary basis and we donate our own time to do it.

The Two guys that do the majority of the moderation of the General Diesel forum moderate two different areas of this site as well as the other forum and they check in occasionally with the News forum. I moderate the 94-97 with OB-1 and Jay Moderates 99+ stuff with Smokey, John etc. Phil moderates the older Ford stuff. Sometimes our own lives interfere with moderating the forums and one of those violations will slip by. I can tell you that If I do not hit each forum twice a day I could easily miss one of these posts and have not guided the wandering member back to the flock.

Thank you for pointing that out and thank you Steve for policing yourself.
