Here is what I got.

--- www.thedieselstop.com ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 5 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 92.829/95.539/98.196/1.877 ms

This site is a tad slower than some others I pinged but it's not bad.

This is at 5:30 am
You guys need to try this in early am and copare to busy nite time and will see big change. You could live in high internet traffic area and the more neighbors on that service the slower it gets. High speed cable at rush hour is like busy highway at 4pm. A 300 horsepower car can only move with the other traffic when to many people on same highway

I have been keeping my eye on the "Current Users" and it seems there are ALWAYS an inordinate amount of "Guests". My bet is there are a ton of "Bots" trolling this site too. Maybe that is one of the reasons for the slow down?

I have always kind of kept my eyes on this feature, (Why,, I don't know... I have been known to spend a bit too much time here! LOL But I can say it is a fact)
I know before, (Couple years ago) It would always have a much smaller ratio of guests to members say, 455 members, 65 guests, I DISTINCTLY remember that. Lately it is always a much higher ratio, with many more Guests than members. Like now, 80 members and 140 guests or so. And the other day, it was 258 members, and something like 800 guests.......That really surprised me!

I know if those ARE real "Guests" then I bet most of them won't register, if this sight looks as bad as everyone says it does, when your logged off. That would turn me away REAL FAST,,and I wouldn't look back.
