Fix this please

This post has a link in it that is very wide and it makes the whole deal hard to read. I hit the little notify moderator button yesterday but it didn't get fixed. Could one of the moderators do a quick fix on it when they get a chance. Thanks.

Re: Fix this please

It didn't scroll the screen out so wide as to cause me to have to hit the scroll button, but it did fill up the screen. Some with a different screen resolution probably had to scroll. So I fixed it.

I just got back from a 4-day trip, and haven't even read my e-mail yet. So I haven't seen the notify moderator e-mail yet.

Nah, me neither. Either he just thought he mashed that button, or else it doesn't work. I'll test it now.

Re: Fix this please

I hit the button on 10-11 and then again on 10-12 but the second time it told me that the moderator had already been notified. You might have a problem with the system??? but thanks for fixing the post. I have a little laptop and it was about twice as wide as my screen.

Well, I just checked and didn't see your notify moderator e-mail and I tried and got a "moderator already notified" ... of course the bats in my belfry have been causing havoc with my squirrels ... I think we might need Mr. Orkin back out to get rid of some more bugs

I hit the notify moderator button, got the proper response that the moderators have been notified, then waited. 2.5 hours later, still no e-mail in my moderator's inbox.

Houston - we have a problem!

Errrrrrrrrrr. Make that Abingdon - we have a problem.

Re: Fix this please

Houston I hope you got your problem fixed. Here is another one that is way too wide for my little screen. Trying to read it makes my eyes cross .

Re: Fix this please

That page has been fixed. It was another case of just posting the FULL URL and not having a link to the URL. When posting a long URL without any breaks like those were it makes the post real wide. All that needs to be done to avoid that situation when posting is to select "URL" from the "Instant UBB Code" menu, pasting/typing the URL into the popup box and then creating a link by typing in a descriptive word or two in the next popup box that comes up. That eliminates the actual URL from showing on the page and creating a scrolling situation.

I understand that but I thought I would point that out to others who read this thread. Maybe it might help from another one being created.
