Ford has been selling this truck for a coupla years now. It has a 4.5L PowerStroke diesel engine that is a "modular" engine based on the 6.0L PowerStroke. Basically, it's 3/4ths of a 6.0L, being a V6 instead of a V8. But it's not mentioned anywhere in the Forums Index.
"LCF" means low cab forward. Almost all of them are box trucks used for big-city delivery chores. It's built in a Ford/International joint venture truck plant and sold by both Ford and International dealers.
A new member PMed me and asked a question about his LCF. I replied, then wondered which forum he could have posted the question in. The LCF is not a "Superduty", so I guess it belongs somewhere in the "Other Ford diesels" part of the forums index, along with vans, Excursions, and F-650s?
Anyway, Admin needs to either add a new forum for the LCF, or maybe expand one of the current forums to include the LCF. Relegating it off to the "General Diesel" forum along with Dodges and Chevys doesn't seem appropriate, some how.
