I quit running IE and i have never ran firefox nor mozilla, but Google Chrome web browser flies. It seems instant with this site too. Free to download, but beware, you might/will like.

My pc is a dell laptop 2+ yrs old.

Just trying to help out.

Chrome is great, I've been using it for a few months now. I use it probably 95% of the time but still use IE8 for some applications.

Yeah once in a while i run into a website that isnt quite right with chrome, but overall im very pleased. Google's email, gmail.com is an awesome free service too.

Yea it's definitely better than IE, but I found myself going back to Firefox. It's faster and has lots of plugins.

I ran it for a couple of days and thought I liked it but then as with all good things, I found that my free spyware blaster and other ad-aware programs didn't work with it. Firefox and IE7 with IE7 Pro works just fine. What are you guys using for spy ware protection?

Joyce, you can disable the stats tracker and similar.
As for the spyware question, i have been please with security suite by computer associates (CA). if you keep your eyes on the office store ads, you can sometimes pickup software for free. also check with your internet provider.
