Allow me the honor of extending a hardy "way to go" and a tip of the cap to you and your crew for the best site on the net...
I know we may be a real pain in the tocus sometimes, but there are many of us who really appreciate the service you provide. Thanks

I'm not sure how significant the 15,000 number is. It means that 15,000 folks have taken the time to register - probably because they wanted to post a question or a reply to something and only members can post a question or reply.
But in a recent message to the volunteer admin staff of this website, Jason told us:

quote:
We are currently generating around 6 million pageviews each month (pageviews, not hits .. big difference), phenomenal numbers for any website.

So apparently a lot more than 15,000 members are tuning in to Ford-Diesel.com. And many of you are coming back again and again and again.
It sorta reminds me of my GranPa. When he retired from farming, he spent several hours each day sitting on the shady side of the street on a store's windowsill downtown in our small town. Gabbing with his buddies about the weather or the cotton crop or that new car he bought last year or the first tractor he bought back during the Great Depression. Now that I'm an old retired GranPa, I don't sit on that downtown windowsill gabbing with a few of my buddies. Instead I sit at my PC and gab about my truck with 15,000 buddies on the internet, while untold thousands of others are listening to what we gab about.
I'm glad I was born in 1938 instead of 1888.

Mind boggling, isn't it? The internet is amazing.

I personally think one of the coolest parts for me is to actually meet many of you at the rallies. The night in Louisville when we went all around the campfire and introduced ourselves was really an eye opener. There is such as diverse group of members here that it is really amazing that we share (at least) one common interest.

To me, it's been a great experience being here at Ford-Diesel.com and seeing the faces at the Rally was the icing. At the first Northeast Rally I was a little apprehensive as to what would show up but, it turns out, every one was great! We all pre-qualified each other with one single interest....Ford_Diesel Trucks! I think the General and Other Tread are needed in between new mods and fixes.
I guess it would be different if this were whips and chains.com
