There is no doubt that what is/has happened in the Gulf Coast states is a tragedy of immense magnitude. I also think it is safe to say the majority (if not all) of the members of this board are sympathetic to the plight of those affected.
That said, TDS is intended to be a site for technical discussions of diesel trucks in general and Ford diesels in particular. It is not a place designed for general "chit-chat", regardless of how relevant to current events that "chit-chat" may be. There are other more appropriate places on the web for such discussions.
