Locked holiday posts?

Why would the "Happy Thanksgiving" and "Merry Christmas" posts get locked? Not trying to be mean, just wondering.

Re: Locked holiday posts?

They say because it is not "diesel related" or that it is not a "technical" question. So it goes against the site rules

Probably because they're off topic in the forum they were posted in.

Re: Locked holiday posts?

Wouldn't they be ok in the news, comments and suggestions forum? After all, in it's description, it doesn't say that anything posted in this forum has to be diesel related. I truly am not trying to start an argument, but after seeing some of the other posts, I would like an answer that really answers my question. Moderators do you have an answer? PM me if you would like.

Thanks

I agree 100% and it's why this site has lost most of its founding members. The one-sided-ness here just totally sucks!!!! I just don't get it!! It used to be a great family oriented site where friends could discuss many subjects but now its just gearheads that don't have a brain to think about anything else but trucks!!!! This is the ONLY site i have ever seen that did not have a GENERAL forum. Can anyone else find any that are so restricted???? BTW, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
