looking for a thread

I had posted in a thread called "looking for running/marker lights." It is in my favorite threads area (just posted in it late last night), and when I click it it says access denied. I view all posts by me and my post does not show, nor can I seem to find the thread. I think the original poster may have put it in the wrong section, but wouldn't it just be moved to the proper one? It seems it was deleted, and I'm trying to figure out why. Can a moderator help me figure this out?

Re: looking for a thread

The post exists here.

Yes the post was in the wrong forum and has been moved to the correct one now but the real issue was that it was cross posted and the duplicate post which you probably had a link to was removed.

Usually moderations are not discussed here but this was a bit different in that the underlying problem was that the original poster cross posted the same question in multiple forums which is not permitted.

Dick

Re: looking for a thread

Ah, thanks Dick. Someone must have fixed the link or soemthing, because now that link in my subscribed threads DOES lead to the thread, rather than to Access Denied. Thanks for the explanation, I thought I was going crazy.
