Based on the new rules, members are unable to ask vendors questions regarding a product and vendors are, in turn, not allowed to answer questions or partake in discussions of their product(s). Is this correct? I might be reading too much into the rules here but I just want to make sure that I (and everyone else) understand the changes.
Oh, thanks for making the rules more readily available. I know there has been some discussion in the past as to where they were.
Cheers & keep up the good work!

P.S. Did you get the e-mail I sent a week or so ago regarding part numbers?

Vendors are free to answer questions about their own products. They should not be discussing their competitor's products or simply posting new messages about their own stuff. Advertisers are free to occasionally post a message about a new product.
Jason we need a little more clarrification on a few items.
I noticed that for the "OTHER" section you did not mention the Gun issues. We were allowed two posts on the first page about control and in addition some others on say reloading and brands and parafanila.
I see that you have reduced the political from two to one also on the front page.
We need to know what you consider political in nature as it can cover a vast gambit of things. Like the energy situtation in Ca. then bills before congress, hearings, this Condit thing, and etc.
Thanks and take care ,

Thanks Jason! That's kinda what I thought but you can never be too sure these days...
Another dumb question but I take it that 'vendors' and 'advertisers' to mean different things? Most of the vendors are already advertisers!
Good points Ed. I remember that too.
I guess now's not the time to ask him about that new "Texas Forum"!
Cheers!

But fwiw, I think one of your recently designated administrators got a bit too enthusiastic with his pruning shears on both of the WD tri-power chip threads.
