Membership Drive Form Idea - Diesel Forum

I was looking around at some of the Dodge sites today and came across the idea of a Membership Drive. Both and <a target="_blank" href=http://www.dodge-diesel.org/yabbse/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=571>Dodg e-Diesel.org are doing something like this. I think it would be a great way to expose people to this wonderful site that might not be aware of it. [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/cool.gif[/img]

I think that I might type something similar up and put it on Power Strokes I see around Tulsa. Sometimes I think that AJ'sDad are the only people in Tulsa with both a Power Stroke and acess to the Internet. [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]

What do y'all think? Does this sound like a good idea?

Dave I got to agree with ya. They're too many new "Powerstrokers out" there that are missing out on how to take care and improve their $35-40k investment.

Everytime I see a F-250/550 I put a little piece of paper under their windshield wiper inviting them to come and visit to see if they are interested. Problem is you never know if it works, but I keep plugging along hoping it does.

The form I came up with is a 25KB Word document that you can edit so that you can type in your information rather than writing it in. Keep a few in your glovebox so you can pass them out. A great place to do so is when you fuel up. I always see a Stroker or two when I fill up. [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/cool.gif[/img]

Since the Ford PSD and the Dodge Cummins are the two best engines on the market, all the better if we can help one another out. Great idea Dave, and the best of luck in your drive!

I find myself doing the same thing when I fuel up, B.S.and spreading the word on Ford-diesel.com. I like the ideal of having a flyer to hand out, but what would be really great would be a business card. Any chance of Jason downloading a file with the logo that we could take to the local Office Depot and have some simple cards made. I have to make a run to the depot in the morning, will check out price and format they would need.

I made a few changes to the Membership Drive Form. The biggest of which was I add the Ford-Diesel.com logo at the top. Dave, Did you ask Jason for the use of his Logo?? I know were all here to help him and grow this site but its only right for us to ask before we use it.
I'm working on a business card version and will post it up here when done.
