mileage

How in Gods name are these guys getting these fantastic mpg figures? I have heard everything from buying #1 #2 diesel fuel to chips. Do they have 20 speeds in their
trucks? I have yet to break 12. Maybe they turn it off when they go down long hills.

Re: mileage

I have been getting 17.1 to 18.3 going back and forth to work. Towing a 9000lb fifth wheel travel trailer, average 11.3 from Georgetown to Grand Canyon to Durango Co. are and back. If you are only getting 12, I would think something is wrong with your truck. (Unless that is towing.)

Hi, mrwyndm, and Welcome! to Ford-Diesel.com.

This website is divided in to several different forums, and each forum is reserved for discussion of certain topics. This forum is reserved for discussion of Ford-Diesel.Com itself. What do you like or don't like, kudos and complaints, comments and suggestions.

You didn't say which Ford diesel you have, so I'll assume it's a '99-up. So I'll move your post to the '99-up General Discussion forum. Look for additional replies in that forum.

To get there, you can scroll up to the top of this screen and click on Forums, then scroll down to the '99-up general Questions forum and click on that. Or just click on the following link:
