"My Home" ... is it working? - Diesel Forum

I can't seem to access "My Home" to change my signature or links. It has been a year and a half since I last followed all of the threads on tds and I don't ever remember having a problem before.

Whenever I click on "My Home" it takes me to the login screen, even if I am already logged in. If I log in again, it takes me to the home page after I login. I dunno? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]

Sounds like you have to clear your browser cookies then re-login to TDS then go to My Home to do housekeeping.

The glitch can also occur with multiple browsers going too which then I'd have to close all browsers to re-login to TDS.

If you use Internet Explorer go to the top of your browser,click "Tools",then "Internet Options" you'll see where it say's Temporary Internet Files,hit "Delete Cookies".

Everything that you were logged into you've now signed out via the temp internet files.

The other browsers I'm not familiar with,perhaps one of the kind mods may chime in to assist.

I use Cleanup! once a week to keep the temp files cleared along with cookies and un necessary junk that'll slow the harddrive,this is a worthy program for everyone.

Well thanks for the help CHPMustang, but it still isn't working for me. I dunno what in the heck is going on but it is very frustrating.

I'm also having another problem as well. When I open a post that says it has 3 new replies, it won't show the new replies until I hit refresh. I think that I might be having a problem with my new DSL. We've been on RoadRunner for about a month now and none of the other websites I visit seem to have a problem, but they aren't forums eithers.

Maybe the info that I've shared will give you some more ideas.

Well I think that I have it fixed now! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I just had to change a few settings in Internet Explorer. Thanks for your help CHP.

I used to IM with you, TEXAS, Big K and a few other when I had a desk job. I changed screen names to coincide with my new occupation.
