New Servers On Order

I ordered two new servers today to replace our current ones. I think we have reached the limit of the existing ones .. particularly at peak times and when doing searches across multiple forums. The new ones are both dual-processor Xeons with lots of memory and hard drive space. I hope to get everything moved over in January. I do not anticipate there being much downtime, if any.

Jason,

Is the current systems running on a Windows OS? If Yes,
Any thought about going to a UNIX or Linux Based system?

Just wondering

Re: New Servers On Order

We have been on Linux since 1999. The two new servers are both Linux too.
