Unhappy New SIDE BAR

Ok, according to my supporting member ship that I paid for it says that I can turn off the sidebar. So how do you turn off this new feature or is it one more thing that the membership is going to have to put up with now? It is no wonder that the members that know what is going on with these trucks are moving away from this forum and I'm not too far from going myself.

I'm not sure which sidebar you're talking about. On mine, with sidebar disabled in my profile, there are no sidebars in the forums. The index for each forum has a side panel on the right side of the screen. It contains the site navigation panel, the User Control panel, the Featured Photos panel with 3 photos, and one small ad. You can minimize the site navigation panel, the User Control panel, and the Featured Photos panel, leaving only one small ad. Is that the sidebar you're fussing about?

Yes that is the one. But as I was saying. When I paid my supporting member fees it said that I was entitled to turn off the side bar and since any member of the forums could turn off the original side bar with all the adds and it wasn't a condition of being a supporting member, I think that we should be able to turn off all the side bars if there are any if we have paid our dues.

Bugman,

Just wanted to post an update that this is not intentional and we should have this fixed for you by Monday. Sorry for the delay.

Mine did too and I kind of got used to it that way. Is it going to be that way from now on? Not a big deal to me as I look for the information... not where it is placed on the page.
