Nigeria scam?

$100 says this email I got from the for sale section is a scammer...

I like the lack of spelling and grammer, also in the actual email(doesnt show here) the "530" has multiple spaces around it, like they have a template and then insert the item in question...

Yeah - before I posted this I already replied to them saying that the price had gone up to $5000 due to the parts no longer being made...we'll see how that goes...

Get them to send YOU a small chack to cover the photographs and postage. Then you win.

Hey,

Huse22 and I were in CHAT not too long ago and there was a scammer in there. Seriously.

He was tryin to buy stuff off Joe and wanted to send the money some funky form or way.

We couldnt believe there was one actually in CHAT [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

So tell her your price and invite her to send you a check in the U.S. Mail.

If it arrives, take it to the bank (to a banker, not a teller) and say that you suspect it's counterfeit. Maybe you can help put one scammer out of business.

If you read up on all the scammer stuff, they can never do anything about those people other than shutting down that one e-mail address, and saying sorry about the wasted time. Even with an IP address there's nothing that can be done, they are always in another country where our rules dont apply...just dont be a sucker and either ignore them or play them.
