Re: Notifing Moderater

Is it a help or hindrance to use the notify a moderator feature for a post in the wrong forum?

The only hindrance is all moderators including the WebMaster receive the e-mail message. The first moderator that looks at it usually takes whatever action is called for, and the other 14 all waste a few seconds seeing that the problem is now gone.
For "wrong forum" posts, if the member is a newbee that probably needs a quick answer to a problem, then I'd maybe use the "notify moderator" button. But for simple off-topic posts such as a Cummins question in a PSD forum, I'd let nature take it's course.
