Now there are movie ad's as well

The least the "New" owners can do is limit it ad's to on topic as far as the site goes.

This is getting bad. I may be looking for a new place to hang. Too bad I really enjoyed everyone here

You might need to do what I did when the ussporting membership became available. I figured what I had saved by comming here and reading what needed to be replaced due to a problem that others had. Then weighed it against the cost and became a supporting member witch is a drop in the bucket from what I have saved. I agree giving the owners some money isn't for everybody but I decided that it wouldn't hurt and I had spent that much on a night of drinking with only a hangover to show for it. So now with the sidebar turned off the only adds that I see are the Google ones and a banner add above it for a sponsor.

Mark..ad's are starting to add up, but what movie's ad's are you seeing? I haven't seen any yet. I'm remembered each time logging on..sidebar off. Sometimes back paging delay or blank page..sometimes site abit slower/sometime's abit faster. However...

recently used friend's pc, so looked at TDS as guest. Was surprised to see word's in thread's (actually links) when scolled over would trigger ad related to word. Now that is creative. Point is..it's a commercial site, but still free. Dosen't bother me, but that's just me.

btw..we all have choice's. Stay/go etc. Hopefully TDS isn't the only highlight of one's day? Still, best to all & good luck.

And I didn't turn it off. I only see one or 2 at the top and the one at the bottom. Never saw a movie add?

Send a message via AIM to Steve Spaulding
Right now, I see the five Google ads at the top, one for suspension stuff, the Iron Man ad, a wheel cleaner ad, and a Focus ad.
