I like the stars where did they go?

I don't like the ratings and usually disable them with each new release.

Was just about to post the same question...when I saw it here! I thought they where GREAT too, in that it brought my attention to posts which others saw as credible and good advice to ALL!
We all respect Jason, for his time and effort indeed, but his judgement sure can rile many of us up. I know...I know...as many will say it's HIS site, but it just seems so very dictorial to me, rather than asking many of us what we think of the "rating" system, it's just changed whether we like it or not. IF, it was using up alot of resources, I can understand, but that wasn't explained to us...was it?
Oh well...another small, but nice portion of the site has gone for not...but the new version does have alot of poistives as well...so not much can be done by the looks of it.
Still ticks me off though...
