In "Upgrades and Aftermarket - General" I do not get the red numbers indicating how many new posts there are. The other forums work fine and the red numbers show up. Is there a fix for this.

So far it's working for me in all the forums I have viewed, maybe it has to do with your "Cookies" settings? (It would have to know, if you have visited recently or not,) Just a thought, Do you have WINDOWS remember your password? Or TDS remember it and automaticly log you on? (If you have Windows do it, you may have "cookies" disabled),,,,,
Is it every forum? Or just some? (I have NO Clue as to why it may work in some and not others for the others that mentioned that...:shrug

I just visited every forum on this sight, and the only ones that showed any numbers were this section, all the 99 and up 7.3L ONLY forums? (no 6.0 or 6.4L) and ONE post in the "E" series section.
I have not visited some of these at all, since the new upgrade, there most certainly should have been many unread posts,,
Maybe you need to check into this further Jayson?
Thanks, and sorry for the hard time earlier, I guess I am just an old Fart that opposes change sometimes too, I am getting used to it, and as Arisley said in another post, it is much better than when it first Debuted.
(The "Menu on the right is SOOO MUCH BETTER THOUGH, I suppose it is because we read from left to right as one mentioned, and it was much harder to "Start" so to speak,,,)

Two things to try. First, go to the bottom left of this page and click the Mark All Read. The next time you visit afterwards, see if everything is working correctly. If not, go back to the bottom of this page and click the My Cookies link and expire your cookies. You will have to login afterwards.
I found, and I think it sorta makes sense. When you visit a forum, unless you actually open a post, that forum does not know you were there. If you open a post than the next time if you go to that forum you will see red numbers for the posts you opened. It took a while for mine to get updated. The forums that I have not visited since the upgrade show no new posts, and I know that aint' so.
Remember it is called the Theory of Electronics, which means, we think we know how it works. Like one of my instructors in the Air Force said, "It all works by PFM, Pure Freakin' magic.", he didn't say freakin' though.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
