Number of posts?

The number of posts shown never seems to go up on my ID when I post. If you use the quick reply feature, does it not register, or does number of posts only refer to new threads you start?

It seems to work fine for mine. Yours shows 909 now. Reply to this one and see it it doesn't go up to 910.

I posted a few minutes ago- it went up to 910. This isn't something I look at real close, but I thought my post count at some point was over 1500. I have been here for awhile, and I'm fairly active. I check back here on a daily basis, and if I have time to reply, I usually do. Is there any way possible my post count could have been altered somehow (like when the forum changed its look), or is my faint memory of my peripheral vision off base?
