This is a great idea Jason. I travel a lot, and long distance access to the www is cost prohibitive. As an alternative to download, isnt there a third party service like RegSoft.com that could handle the purchase, mailing, etc. & you could still make money on the deal. I would certainly like to buy a CD with all this information. Maybe it could be issued on a yearly basis. Just a thought.

I don't know if it would all fit on one CD, but how about a yearly CD with every post on it? This would make a great Xmas present for F-D.com addicts, plus make a few bucks for the Management.

Well, it should fit on one CD, at least everything up to this point.

The two forums I got to test out are very small and take up less than 200kb (Gas and Ordering I believe...).

A CD can hold 650mb which is >650,000kb

650mb = 650 * 1024 (Kilobytes) * 1024 (bytes) = 681,574,400 bytes = a whole lot of stuff from the site

Technically, it should hold more, since 650 MB is actually 681,574,400 bytes.
