Now That I have all your attention. How come the sponsor Diesel Site does not ship to Canada? I had like an $800 shopping cart, went to check out and. eh I dont live in the US, and thats ok with me but I like spending money on my diesel truck buying stuff from companies in the US. But sadly I cannot for some unknown reason. I can't speak for them, but we used to have all kinds of problems shipping things to Canada. It seemed that things either never made it, took a very long time, were returned to us, or were severely mangled. We shipped to several countries overseas with no problems. I could never figure it out, it should be the easiest country to ship to. We tried both UPS and postal service, but had problems with both.
I know at least one of our Sponsors is in Canada, BD Power, but I'm not sure if they have what you are lookin for.
Canada is one of the hardest countries to ship to. They have some of the most restrictive inbound shipping rules/ regualations. They often hold packages up for weeks at a time and decline items for inbound shipping. You have to fill out a lot of paper work to ship something to them UPS or freight. USPS is a different story, very easy for some reason.
I've never had a problem mailing CVN stickers, and I declare a value (albeit small).
My company ships parts to Canada every day, either by motor carrier or various forms of FedEx. You have to do some export/customs paperwork, but it has been reliable. We'd be out of the automotive business if it wasn't.

You stated mailing (read my reply, USPS is easy). The company I work for does not have a problem shipping to Canada either but we have all kinds of fancy shipping/ UPS software that takes care of it for us (fills out all the paper work automatically). If you don't have the software, it is somewhat time consuming.
The funny thing is that I'm surprised this thread has stayed open.
You should call Bob Riley directly. A while back, their website choked on shipping to Alaska, but I called and talked to Bob, and he got it dealt with. He's great to deal with and talk to. I'll bet it's a glitch with their website software. Don't give up on Dieselsite before you talk with Bob.
I don't know where Sherwood Park is in Alberta, but I shipped stuff regularly to Stoney Plain with my previous employer.
One of you needs to employ the services of a customs broker. Do as suggested and get in touch with Bob directly. He may already have a broker, but if not, PM me and I'll get you a couple of references.
Bob would either need a forwarder or need to sit down and do the paperwork himself. Forwarders aren't usually inexpensive. We used to pay $125/shipment for outbound paperwork and courier of documents. That was worth my time, but probably not worth your's or Bob's. The paperwork takes about 30 minutes once you find the right forms.

It is just about impossible for the "online Store" software to accurately compute shipping outside the US. We ship to CN all the time. You just have to call us for that order.
