Oil leaks from Turbo Tubes

I own a 2000 SDSC and I can see oil dripping from the turbo tubes on to the ground. The vehicle only has 12k. I was woundering if this is normal. No excessive oil useage noticed.

Re: Oil leaks from Turbo Tubes

The oil IN the tube unfortunately is normal. Oil dripping FROM the tube is NOT normal. Remove the clamps and rubber tubes and clean everything thoroughly. Reinstall all of the parts and torque the clamps to 71 inch pounds.

Re: Oil leaks from Turbo Tubes

Hi poorboy and welcome to the forum. I feel you will become addicted to it as a bunch of us have .
One of the moderators will be by in a little bit, more than likely Smokey Wren and move this to the ENGINE AND DRIVELINE section. You will get more hits there. There is also a breather like fitting that feeds into the air box where the oil fumes condense that contribute to this. If it is real heavy and excessive may be a bad O ring.

s and the best.
