the ONION

Check out the article at http://www.theonion.com/onion3707/taste_in_trucks.html

Though it is meant to be a satire, it probably accurately describes many of us who frequent this forum; which I do not think is a bad thing.

The ONION has some amusing articles

Yeah, but I do wish he would have improved his taste and image, and shot for a PSD! I hate to see a person not live up to their capability.

Re: the ONION

Being a regular subscriber to The Onion, (the funniest satirical spoof newspaper ever written) I am quite sure it was intended to be biting satire about us truck freaks. Except that guy seems tame compared to all of us nuts!!!

Re: the ONION

F-150 or God forbid........C**** (and I use the word loosely) 1/2 ton truck ???

This guy is one of the many guys that thinks his sub-truck is even allowed to park within 5 parking spaces of my Power Stroke Diesel powered Super Dutys at the Supply House. If you think I mean Home Depot or Wal Mart, you are one of those guys

Re: the ONION

I just consider it a way of life to park way out back in two spots.
I try to stay as far from other's as I can.
I hate to clog up two spaces but you have no choice. Both my Super Dutys are over length.

If you watch how people park and open doors, you would too. The extra walk is fine by me.

Re: the ONION

You can tell the type of guy Home Depot is trying to attract by looking at the size of the parking spaces they use -- I could never understand why a "hardware" store would ever even want those puny little spaces you have to jocky around in to get a regular sized truck to fit without pounding on the car next to you when you open the door, let alone a CrewCab
