Order Confirmations and Celebrations Thread/topic

Can we create an ongoing thread under the ordering section for people to report their build dates, delivery dates, notes to Bobby and Cochise, etc.

It seems like we create a whole pile of new threads which have only one message in them, that being the announcement of having received a build date or asking Bobby or Cochise to check their e-mail. I think it is safe to say they always check their e-mail. If you are unsure about that, send your e-mail requesting a receipt.

How about a single thread on this subject. Then, we can easily go back and compare build dates to final delivery dates and such.

Feel free to suggest other modifications to my request, take pot shots at it, or whatever. No offense taken. It sounds like a good idea to me but that doesn't necessarily make it so.

Keep up the great posts guys (and gals).

Re: Order Confirmations and Celebrations Thread/topic

Sounds good in theory, but I don't think it would work over time because of new people to the site or even old people who would be unaware and would start a new thread anyway. At least the people who are aware of your idea could do it.
Another thing that would contribute to the problem is when the thread hasn't been posted in for a number of days and doesn't appear on their screen. If it's your first visit to the order forum, you'd have no idea about the ongoing thread.
Not knocking your idea, just pointing out a couple of possible roadblocks.
