Overdrive E4OD in or out when towing?

I am on my third tranny. The builders of this one say if I am hualing anything about 2000#s then out of OD. Any suggestions? I haul a camper(3500) and a boat(3000) on occasion.

Hi, Always Workin, and Welcome! to Ford-Diesel.com.

This website has several different forums, each reserved for discussion of specific topics. You posted your question about your '96 in a forum reserved for discussion of the operation of this website. So I'll move it to the forum for '94-'97 PSDs.

You also posted another question on a different topic. I'll move that one too, without comment in that thread.

To get to that forum, scroll up to the top of this screen and click on the big word "Forums". then scroll down the list of forums until you see the forum for '94 - '97 PowerStrokes. Click on that.

Smokey
