To make the pictures smaller you must have some type of graphic editing program. One I like for quick jobs and is free is
here .
To put a link to your pictures in your signature you need to have the photos uploaded to the web somewhere like here at TDS or someother place like webshots. You then create a link in the signature line that goes to the URL that they reside at. If you are talking about an image below your name in your porfile to the left of every post you make, that is a bit different. Follow these directions
1. You need to have first uploaded a picture or pictures onto the diesel truck stop picture gallery or other gallery of your choice.
2. Select the picture you want to use as an avatar
3. Leave the picture as a thumbnail, do not click on or open the picture.
4. Put cursor on the thumbnail.
5. Using the right button on the mouse and click on the picture.
6. Now, from the dialog box select “properties” left click on properties
7. Find the URL, Place the cursor at the beginning of the URL.
8. Press and hold the left mouse button down and swipe it across the URL to highlight it.
9. To copy the URL to the clipboard, press and hold first the CTRL key then the C key. Release both keys at the same time.
10. Now go to the chat forum. From the menu at the top, select “MY HOME”
Select edit from “Personal information, email, password, etc.”
11. From the edit page find, URL to your picture (65x75 max pixels, may be smaller) (.gif, .jpg, .png accepted)
12. Now paste the URL you copied by pressing the CTRL key and the V key
13. Select “submit”
14. If you did everything right your picture “avatar” should now be seen in Main Configuration box.
