How, in simple terms, do i add a picture to my bio?

I don't know... I added one to mine to show up under my name on the left, it works for about 10 minutes then it doesn't show up anymore. It just shows that symbol where a picture is supposed to be. I followed the directions from this site and for some reason it just won't stay. I gave up.

If you don't have a qualifying photo on the web someplace, you can upload one right here on TheDieselStop. Scroll up to the top of this screen - above your post - and notifce two menu bars. On one of those menu bars is a "photos" button. Click on that button, then follow your nose.

After you get a photo uploaded to TheDieselStop Member Galleries area, if you click on it the URL may not end in .jpg or .gif. If not, then right-click on the photo, then click on properties. The URL in the properties block should have the URL ending in .jpg or .gif. Right-click on that URL, then click on "copy". That will copy the URL to your browser memory. Then go to My Home and follow the instructions in the other post.
