Such a shame,,,

You just can't come here anymore and quickly glance through anything. It is too slow. If you hit the back button, or you edit your post it just almost dies on you... NO other sites have this problem. No firefox for me. This is my work computer and I can't install anything extra on this machine. The home computer is 5 or 6 years old and isn't even worth trying to navigate this site...

This is my first visit back to this site in almost two months. Like Layson indicated, the changes made since it came under new ownership have made it too much of a chore to even bother with on a regular basis. Too much advertising garbage has made it too slow for my computer and internet connection.

one of the things i hate is all the freakin advertising. I didnt have a problem with the sponsor ads that dealt with Powerstrokes, but now there is all kinds of ads. I hate sites full of advertising.

Such a shame,,,
Is is possible the site with a lot of 6.0's and many 6.4's coming on line is just changing as the 7.3 guys change to upgraded trucks? I'm not saying it's so, just an alternative theory.

With diesel jumping .30 cents here today, I can't afford anything aftermarket and I don't drive it enough to have problems so I visit here once a month now, if that. Could be the same for many others.

Like a few others I've been away for a few years also dealing with life, and I've noticed the same thing. All kinds of ads and crap all over. If you can run Firefox, then use the NoScript add-on, it allows you to fine tune a bit, and you won't see a damn ad anywhere. (Just ONE thin little banner at the top of the page and NO popups.) I also use the FasterFox add-on that turbo charges FF and pages load in 2-3 seconds and I'm on DSL here with a mediocre machine at best.
