pm question

I have saved over 750 PM's and some of them are actually quite enlightening and worth saving to have a little laugh and some are not. Question...does this jam up any appreciable memory of Jason's site/server? If so I'll dump about 90% of them.

Re: pm question

If there are some you really want to keep you can email them to one of your email accounts. Just make you a folder in the account and copy and paste them. Yes they are bound to take up memory space on the disks.

Re: pm question

Being somewhat nonchalant I probably kept them way too long. I'm sifting through at least 90% of them that have no meaning at all. thanks for the e mail Idea. I was expecting one of those in the know to say if this ties up much space. Apparently it's not that much of a big deal?

20 years ago it would have been a huge deal. 10 years ago it would have been a big deal. But today the cost of disk storage is relatively itty bitty, so it's no big deal.

But my first "home" computer was an IBM PC with a 5 mb hard drive, and I started with computers back in the '50s when each character's space in core memory was a big deal, so I tend to delete stuff I don't really need. In fact, I don't save PMs at all. Zero. Nada. Zip. I treat them sorta like phone calls. I don't "save" phone calls either.
