Posting tables on Ford-Diesel.com
The following message is in one of the '99-up forums, but I thought it needed to be here too, so here it is:

In the edit window I have a table with three columns. The first is the XLT and the options that have to be added to match a Lariat as close as possible, the second is the Lariat, and the third is the text descriptions. Sorry, I do not know how to correct this.

Although the editor allows tabs and extra spaces, the display software removes them. So if you want to post a table, you have to use something besides spaces and tabs to make your columns line up. Here's your table partially fixed using periods instead of tabs and spaces.
But the editor has all characters the same width, whereas the screen display characters vary based on the width of the character. So after you add your periods, you must re-edit several times to get the colums to actually line up close. [I edited this message several times - adding and deleting periods.]
There is also an ASCII character (Alt-255?) that looks like a blank on the screen, so if you were really into making a table for posting on Ford-Diesel.com, you'd use that.
