Just a comment. Checked the site to try to find a problem I had with my '99.5 F-450, decided to upgrade membership to Lifetime, it is really nice. So much better, fewer adds. Quite an improvement for only $65.00. That is like only a 1/4 tank of fuel. Hey, I got Shell for 4.729 today, it was a just remodeled station in Jessup MD, near the Produce Terminal. Best I had seen was 4.759 about 1 mile away, guess they had to reduce price because of Shell promo.
You folks who put the time and effort into this site really to a great job.

I quit frequenting this site when it switched to the advertising format, which takes FOREVER for each page to load on my dial-up. I DO understand why this format benefits the site, and am NOT criticizing the format change. I'd really like to start participating more again, but don't have the patience to wait between each page. Does eliminating the sidebar and all the Google ads at the top of each page (I assume this is what the "fewer ads" means) really increase load speed much? If so, I think membership would be very worthwhile.
Thanks very much!
Regan

It has been said before on the speed of this site, Firefox with ad-block + and NoScript as add ons. It fixes the problem of site being slow. If I come to this site with IE 8, it is slow and I have 3.5 meg DSL.
