Unhappy Private Messages Lost??!?!?!?!?!

Ok,

Is there anyway to get any of the Private Messages back?

OMG, it sure would have been nice to know ahead of time that we are going to lose all that.

PM Disaster

If you do not recover the PMs. I will never be seen on this site again. I had many (probably over 500) PMs with information that was critical to past and future projects on my truck and now I have lost all of those. The new limit is set at a ridiculously low 100 which I can exceed in a week. And that is being fastidious about deleting. You need to get these back pronto and if that limit is imposed, allow people time to archive the PMs on their own machines before arbitrarily cutting them off.

On edit:
You know a little dialog with your user base goes a long way to helping with these transitions.

Wow, I didn't know we would lose all are private messages and watched threads. This really sucks, I had a ton of info in both those sections as well. As already stated, a little warning would have been nice. We have never had this issue in the past with upgrades. There might have been little hiccups but they were resolved in short time.

Not that it would hurt the site at all but I think I'm with haul_n on this one. If I do not get mine back, this site will by my when I get bored to visit site only.
