problem reading forum

I have a problem reading the forums from my home computer. When i click on the forum tab it does not open the forum topics. It seems like it is looking for them most often timing out. Occasionally the topics come up but then when i logon it does the same thing. Also sometimes when the topic / logon page comes up it only shows text, any type of graphic is a little box with a red "x" in it. I have tried e-mailing , but know one ever responds. I have no problem using the forum from my work computer. please give me any ideas you have.

Re: problem reading forum

What version of Internet Explorer are you using? Try running I.E.6 with the updates, that may resolve your issues, also run, the Windows updates for your version, especially security patches. The Network people at your work probably take care of these issues for you at night during system maintenance, we call it a 'push'.

Re: problem reading forum

From the way you describe it, it sounds like a connection/caching problem. Do you have the Google Toolbar or a "Hi-Speed" dial up connection?

Re: problem reading forum

Hmm. Who is your cable provider? Comcast has been a bit wonky lately with certain sites (DNS issues).

Re: problem reading forum

Well, unfortunately I am out of suggestions. Other than a DNS or cache problem, I don't know of anything else that could be causing it. Are any other sites behaving this way?

I have experienced the problem you have been having on other site but not TDS.com
