Retainer bushing for clutch push rod

I have a 94 F-350 PSD CrewCab with 5-speed.I have to replace the plastic bushing for the clutch master cylinder push rod two or three times a year. Does anyone know a permanent fix for this? I have changed the master and slave cylinder. And check for alignment.

Re: Retainer bushing for clutch push rod

Welcome to Ford-Diesel.com, KHW
You'll find tons of info here for your truck and even a great Other Forum but, this topic would be much better in the '97 Forum as this one is only for News about Ford-Diesel.com.

I suspect one of your fellow Texans and good friend of mine, Mike Hardin (our friendly Moderator) will be in here soon to move this topic to that thread.

In answer to your question, I would try a Luk Clutch. Look to the top of the page and do a search in the '97 forum for Luk clutches and you'll have tons of answers for that question.

Added in edit;
Here is a link to the '94 to '97 Forum and they are talking about the plastic bushing and also that NAPA has a better one with Aluminum ends.

KWH:

Welcome to the site!

Super Duty John is right, you'll get better response in the 94-97 forum, so I'll move it there.

You can find it HERE
