Hopefully this is the right spot for this....but I wanted to let everyone, members and moderators know, a guy has stuff posted for sale in the for sale section and we agreed on a price and I overnighted him a check and he refused it. Upon calling him he said he changed his mind against selling this item. No phone call or email or anything, just the overnight package back. This guy is Colt Key and he has a lift and rims and tires for sale. So STAY AWAY from him!
What did you try to buy off him? Wheels and tires or lift? How much money? My bet is that he found out about the Jamboree this weekend and thought he could make more money............. Let me know as we have exchanged e-mails. Thanks........
It sounds like he returned your money/check back right away, which is something to be thankful for. Calling someone a "snake" implied to me that an attempt was made in some way to hold on to or indefinately delay sending back your money, which doesn't seem to be the case here.

Maybe not a snake, but definitely not an honorable person. Among honorable people, a deal is a deal. Sounds like the guy broke a verbal contract to sell. I wouldn't be too happy either, and might be referring to him by similar names, if he did the same to me.
